Welcome to FPCAHS, Inc.

Friends of Pike County Animals Humane Society, Inc. is an all-volunteer, Non-Profit 501(c) (3) organization dedicated to the humane care, treatment, and well-being of companion animals.

Our goals include controlling pet overpopulation through spay/neuter programs, establishing a network of foster families for homeless pets, hosting adoption events, and educating the public about animal care and responsibility.

Monthly meetings are scheduled on the last Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at the Joel Edwards Public Library (Zebulon).

You and your family are invited to join us and become a Friends of Pike County Animals Humane Society, Inc. supporter.

How You Can Help!

We are entirely funded through private donations, foundation gifts and grants, bequests and endowment income from the citizns of our community and other rescue organizations.

Donations make wonderful gifts for birthdays, holidays and anniversaries. You may also make a donation in memory of someone or a beloved pet. (Please send a note with your donation including the address of the person for us to send the acknowledgement of your donation).

Donations will be used to provide spay and neuter funding assistance to low income and elderly pet owners and to assist in the construction costs associated with the county animal shelter.

We will gladly accept donations of dog or cat food, New flea/tick collars, cat litter, new and slightly used pet carriers, new or slightly used dog houses and metal crates. Please call 770-468-8726 or email us at friendsofpikecountyanimals@hotmail.com so we can make arrangements to pick up the items.
